Jay Chou on the run. I’ve heard it.

I’m here for an album review.

I thought Jay Chou releasing his album this Friday. How come you are reviewing his album? Must be saying all his songs are nice. Propaganda.

I heard all of his songs liao.

Here’s the list of songs in his 我很忙 album.

Track 1: 牛仔很忙
You all have heard it before. Cutesy Jay. Cowboy Jay. Enough said. Hilarious song which took you time to accept his new style of composition.

Track 2: 彩虹
His 2nd hit. His song is derived from one of his tracks in 不能说的秘密 OST. First kiss. I like the lyrics of this song. Somemore easy to memorise.

Track 3: 青花瓷
He mentioned before every album of his will at least have one song which is in his 中国风 style. This is no exception. And I can tell you this song is very very 中国风. Even more 中国风 than 发如雪 or 东风破. He should have used this song as a duet with 费玉清 instead of 千里之外.

Track 4: 阳光宅男
This song reminds me of the beach boys. Very sunshine. I thought of handsome Japanese guys at the beach. A very sporty feel of song. Yeah. Sporty is the word.

Track 5: 蒲公英的约定
The moment you hear the start of this song, you know that it is another track in 不能说的秘密 OST converted into this song. Converted from 路小雨写立可白I. A very emotional song. My favourite track of the album. Can certainly make you cry. Especially when you picture the scene of 路小雨 writing on the table and dying of asthma.

Track 6: 无双
中国风 plus rap plus rock. A bit of Indian elements as well. Really can make you high. A bit like 黄金甲. Will make you go yo yo yo after hearing this. I know not all people can accept his rap songs. But this is certainly a good song.

Track 7: 我不配
Another slow and emotional ballad from him. And what a high range of keys he has. It has since been a long long time since I really last heard him using his falsetto. The lyrics is very sad. Another of my favourite tracks as well. Something like 你听得到.

Track 8: 扯
This is a rap song. Those kind of dance rap. Reminds me of 红模仿. Not really appealing. A bit of American style. Still acceptable. Not as bad as 同一种调调.

Track 9: 甜甜的
If you like songs like 简单爱 or 麦芽糖, this is the song for you. Has a really sweet feel. Hence the name of the song. Girls will like this song more than guys. I thought of the colour pink when I heard this song.

Track 10: 最长的电影
Another song of his in which he uses his falsetto. Damn power. A bit like 爱情悬崖. Another of my recommendations. Superb song by Jay. This is the type of song which sounds like any other Jay songs but the more you hear it, the more you’ll fall in love with it. Can certainly make you cry if you listen to this song in the correct state of emotions.

A really good work by Jay Chou given the short amount of time he spent on this album. But can be better.

My recommendations: Tracks 2, 5, 6, 7 and 10.

If you are as busy as Jay Chou, so busy that you don’t even have time to listen to the above-mentioned 5 songs, listen to tracks 5 and 7.

Especially track 5. I simply love track 5.

This guy is really born to make music. Now I can ranting at why I must wait till Friday. Why can’t he just release tomorrow?

Beg me if you want to hear his album first hand.

I’ll tell you how you can go about hearing it.

Jay Chou will be celebrating his 29th birthday in Singapore as well. Because a 2nd show of his World Tour concert is held on 18 January 2008.

Woohoo.

I’ll take off on Monday and get his concert tickets.

Cough Cough Cough

I have been coughing ever since Saturday.

Despite all this, I still went cycling.

Because it wasn’t so bad then.

Now I have this urge to stick my whole hand in and scratch my throat.

It is just so damn itchy inside. And dry too.

Must be that whole stick of Fruitips I ate on Saturday night.

Morale of story. Don’t eat one stick of Fruitips at night.

Unless you want a really bad cough.

Sia lah. Really like Tekong cough sia.

Anyway, I don’t care.

I still drink cold drinks. To make my throat comfortable at a cold temperature.

And still ate one stick of Hichews yesterday.

I believe the recent weather conditions have caused a lot of people to fall sick.

I just hope I don’t fall so sick like last year until I need a drip.

What if?

I watched the 彩虹 MV.

Yup. The guy had less than a month’s time to live.

I was thinking about this question?

What if I knew I had only a month’s time to live?

What will I do?

I have my answer.

I’ll post on this blog that I’ll have only a month’s time to live in my usual 萧氏风格 of blogging. And let you all laugh at me.

Before you all realise that actually it is real.

Sadly, I didn’t see cream flavoured ones on sale now.

I remember my cousin likes to buy such snacks for me everytime he visits my place.

He claimed that I love to eat all those, and I don’t recall telling him that.

Anyway, I finished all of those stuff he bought lah.

I’m a 20-year-old kid.

For your necessary information please and your possible further comments/criticism.

You said I sometimes really very 讨人厌.

Then you said I quite funny after that few seconds of 讨人厌.

Which is why I really got to salute the Queen of Paparazzis.

She can actually make 2 contradicting factors link to each other.

Just like actually black and white is similar.

My question is, so am I 讨人厌 for a few seconds or funny or both or none (which I don’t think is possible)?

Sky Wu.

Yeah. I bet most people don’t know who this guy is.

He is a singer.

I bet most of you guys will be wondering.

Huh? New singer ah?

By the way, this Sky Wu guy is more commonly known as 伍思凯.

Yup. Most people nowadays know who’s Jay Chou, Stefanie Sun (Miss Lim, is the spelling correct?), Jolin Tsai, Energy, 5566 and now, Fahrenheit.

Who the heck is this Sky Wu?

Sky Wu was some sort of a Jay Chou back then. Full of talent. Great with the piano. Girls will go gaga over him.

And his compositions are very power.

I’ve caught a glimpse of his performance on the cancer charity show just now.

Reminds me of my childhood days.

Really classic sia.

And his new songs aren’t bad either.

I am considering whether I should get his compilation album.

Maybe I should get it when I collect my album this coming Friday.

By the way, I seem to be flooding Lim Shi Ying’s blog with comments.

And creating havoc in her blog as well.

She must be dying to strangle me.

But this queen a bit blur at times. So how’s your leaves collection going on? How many coloured leaves have you collected? Got purple coloured leaves or not?

Go and listen to 收集. It’s a very short song but full of emotions.

Track 19：Farrer Road, Queensway, Holland Road

Yes.

I went to Farrer Road again.

I said yesterday I wanted to go long distance.

Yesterday didn’t really cycle enough.

Today I went for a hardcore cycling.

Which totally went wrong due to the weather.

I went out at 1pm. It is scotching hot.

And it is totally a bad idea to eat Mentos during cycling.

I reached Holland Village at 2 plus.

And saw the sky was a bit cloudy.

I went further in. And it started to rain.

Ta ma de

Had to spend 15 minutes waiting for the rain to stop.

Meanwhile, I was learning how to sing 彩虹. Very nice to sing sia.

Because the lyrics is not very chim. Easy to memorise.

The rain stopped and I cheonged to Farrer Road.

I didn’t go up to the territory of the Queen of Paparazzis. Instead I turned right when I came out of this Leedon Road.

Because of the construction there going on. Circle Line Stage 4.

And I think I know where Sharon lives already.

There’s this small road leading to Commonwealth. I didn’t go in due to the fact that I had a feeling the rain is coming back.

I passed by Suxian’s place.

And that was when the rain got very big and I was drenched.

Both times it rained I was in Holland Village.

They should just build a reservoir there.

Was cursing and swearing at those guys in charge of the weather up there.

I was planning to cycle to Farrer Road, then go to West Coast Park, and finally to Hillview again.

In the end, after the rain, I knew those up there can’t make up their mind so I proceeded back home.

That was when those up there decided they had enough of rain and it stopped raining.

Ta ma de

I was sian to the core.

I passed by Singapore Polytechnic. And cheong down to Jurong Point to grab a bite.

I didn’t have lunch.

I is really buay song sia.

Never mind.

I’ll try again next Saturday.

You know, if I succeeded, I would have cycled to places all 5 members of the Chatty Gang live.

Today, didn’t manage to cycle to Jasmine’s area.

Otherwise I can hao lian already.

Of course, who needs a car in Singapore?

One bicycle is enough.

But then the problem is bicycle can’t go on expressways.

Another problem is that, I don’t have all the time in the world to cycle from Jurong to Bedok.

But the most important factor is, cycling keeps me fit.

So that I can be macho enough to jio girls.

Woo. But sadly, your name doesn’t appear on my list of girls to jio.

Track 18：Little Guilin, Hillview

I decided to explore the whole of Bukit Batok yesterday.

I had one place in mind. Thought of this somebody. And in turn, leading me to think of this place.

But then I didn’t know I passed by that place. And soon, I ended up at the above 2 destinations.

As for what is that place.

You all shall slowly guess.

I reached Little Guilin. It is a significant place.

Will surely bring my dream girl there someday.

Now the question is, who is my dream girl?

According to the Queen of Paparazzis, a new Princess of Paparazzis has surfaced up.

What?!!

I was thinking I could have a peaceful 2 weeks since the King of Paparazzis is now stuck in BMT and can do nothing to me.

The Queen of Paparazzis should be easy to deal with, but she might pull one or 2 stunts to me, so I must beware.

By the way, she is busy collecting all kinds of leaves. Green, black, blue. Pong pong tree, angsana tree, raintree, flame of the forest and many more.

I thought that I only need to deal with one paparazzi for now. And now there’s a Princess of Paparazzis.

Furthermore, when the King of Paparazzis comes back from BMT, I’ll have 3 big shot paparazzis to deal with.

Oh man.

Currently, the identity of this Princess of Paparazzis is unknown.

I shall monitor this situation closely since paparazzis are very interested in who is my dream girl.

I thought of poor Jeremy, who was on his Company Orderly Sergeant duty today.

Wanted to message him saying that I’m just outside his camp.

But lazy. And detour back. Reached Why Chen’s area.

Saw my aunt and uncle and my cousins.

Decided to get my 2nd bottle of Pokka Green Tea before proceeding back home.

Today is Sunday.

I shall go long distance today.

It’s getting late. Time to dream of my dream girl.
