Message received.

Refer to this news article.

I was walking along Orchard Road this morning with Jeremy when I received this sms regarding the fugitive on the loose.

But Jeremy still hasn’t received anything.

I was wondering if any of you guys received that sms.

Yes? No?

I’m tua pai. That’s why they sent to me first.

Please catch him soon. Hopefully such nonsense will not occur again.

Seems like the security here is Singapore is getting more and more slack.

First there’s this case of NSF smuggling SAR21 out of camp. Now this terrorist is on the loose.

I seriously wonder why.

And this is terribly a bad time for all these.

Integrated resorts are opening next year. Formula 1 night races are starting in September. The first ever Youth Olympics is in 2 years’ time.

Security must be tightened.

We certainly don’t want anyone to anyhow pull any stunts on anywhere at anytime.

I wonder if there’s any hidden meaning.

As I was sitting on the bus en route to the SIR building at Lavender just now, I was thinking about many things.

And somehow I thought of the movie L Change the WorLd. Suddenly I remembered this scene at the orphanage.

I’m still wondering if there’s any hidden meaning behind this. But this is what L Lawliet said to Near.

Always remember. No matter how gifted you are, you alone cannot change the world.

Still on the run.

So that Mat Selamat Kastari is still on the run. Reports say he might attempt to steal a car.

And of course, disguise himself.

Search parties have been extended to areas like West Coast Park, Bukit Batok Nature Reserve and some other places which I forgot.

But hey! Those are the places I usually cycle to, especially West Coast Park.

Let’s hope he’ll not end up at Chinese Garden. That is my favourite haunt recently where I sit down there beside my bicycle and stone and think about my personal problems.

I’ve seen Cruz Teng’s blog.

Apparently this Mat Selamat Kastari might have ideas to disguise himself into.

I believe he’ll be caught soon. But I was guessing the reaction of whoever arrest him when they see him like these.

L Lawliet Change the WorLd.

March 3, 2008

So the full name of L is out already.

L Lawliet. Interesting name.

His final 23 days. After all, 3 days were used up in solving Light Yagami’s case. And he took 18 days to solve another super complicated case involving some bio-chemicals.

Let’s not touch into that. I’m lazy. And I don’t want to be a spoiler.

Leaving him 2 days for him to relax and enjoy his chocolates before he’s gone.

This is a great movie. Though it lacks some punch compared to the 2 Deathnote movies.

And I was expecting to see Erika Toda somewhere.

In the end, not much of Erika Toda. Only one minor scene.

But never mind. L is seriously a master detective with acute observation powers.

Worth watching. I might consider watching a 2nd time.

Depending on my financial status. And who wants to watch with me as well.

By the way, there’s something at the end of the credits of the movie.

Seems like no one really knows. In the end, only 7 people left behind to watch the last scene whereas the rest of the people in the cinema walked out, thinking that there’s nothing already.

Not much really. But you get to see the last glimpse of the legendary L Lawliet.
