Man U got no keeper.

March 9, 2008

I was watching Initial D just now. Yeah. The movie. It’s my 8th time watching that.

Don’t stare at me wide-eyed.

If you had taken a good look at Zi Cheng’s msn nickname online for the past few days, that is his 15th time watching Secret.

As I was saying, I was watching Initial D just now.

It was during the climax of the movie when Jay Chou and Edison Chen just overtook Jordan Chan when of all people, Miss Lim Shi Ying suddenly talked to me online about the Manchester United vs Portsmouth match.

She said Man U had no keeper.

Obviously something was wrong. Shouldn’t Edwin van der Sar be playing?

And I’m very sure he wouldn’t be so stupid like a certain Jens Lehmann to get himself sent off like what the latter did during the Champions League final between Barcelona and Arsenal in 2006.

An emergency check to soccernet seemed essential.

I realised the poor Edwin van der Sar sustained an injury and this Tomasz Kuszczak replaced him.

And somehow, this Tomasz Kuszczak got himself sent off for a professional foul on Milan Baros.

I can’t believe Miss Lim Shi Ying is actually watching the match.

While this Man U fan here is watching Initial D.

And she too, didn’t understand why Tomasz Kuszczak was sent off as well.

But I think he went for Baros’ legs. That’s why.

In the end, it wasn’t John O Shea who was the keeper.

It was Rio Ferdinand.

*slaps forehead repeatedly

There goes Man U’s treble hopes.

Sir Alex Ferguson, I have an assignment for you.

Kindly please perform your famous hair-dryer treatment on Tomasz Kuszczak.

Thank you very much.

If only I had watched the match, Man U might have won.

I guess it has since been a long time since I last wore my Man U jersey.

Time to wear it again.

I bought that Giggs jersey in 2006. And that year, Man U won the English Premier League, ending a 4-year wait for the title.

So conclusion, I bring luck to Man U. =)

Meanwhile, I want Barnsley to thrash Chelsea 5-0.

Edit @ 1.14am, 9 March 2008:

I know this will be very irrelevant to this soccer post, but this is with regards to the comment made by the very anti-Man U Kavin Aw.

I thought you must be mocking at the loss of FA Cup quarter-finals at Man U as I clicked on your comment.

So you said China Airlines stewardess super chio.

Hey! You sure or not?

Can your taste be trusted?

Judging from your former crushes in secondary school and JC, I’ll keep my eyes wide opened during the flight then.

Edit @ 1.11pm, 9 March 2008:

WOOHOO!!!!!!!

Barnsley failed to beat Chelsea 5-0, but they knocked the FA Cup holders out with a 1-0 win at home.

This comes as a consolation to me after a nightmare at Old Trafford for Man U.

WOOHOO!!!!!!

I love Barnsley.
