Manchester United go 5 points clear.

I watched the full live telecast of Manchester United vs Liverpool yesterday.

Best Bud Woo was hoping for a Liverpool upset win so that his beloved Arsenal could go top of the English Premier League table if they manage to beat Chelsea later that night.

Where got so easy? And there is no if. Arsenal is just another ordinary team.

In both cases, the results were very untoward for him.

The scoreboard reads these 2 scores by this morning.

This time round, Manchester United upgraded from winning 1-0 the previous time to thrashing them 3-0 at a much wider margin. 

You have guessed it. Jia Wei went home a sad man and prayed so hard for an Arsenal win that in the end, the scoreline was in a way disappointing for him.

Just in the 6th minute, Rooney almost managed to beat Pepe Reina if not for a back tackle in the penalty box by fellow Englishman, Jamie Carragher.

I was wondering why there wasn’t a penalty given and there wasn’t any red card also, since Rooney was clean on goal and he was the last man.

In the 11th minute, Javier Mascherano was issued a yellow card for an audacious tackle on Paul Scholes.

It was very clear when the camera zoomed into his face right at that moment he mouthed the 2 words that Kavin usually will say for all sorts of reasons.

F**K OFF!!!

And it was Wes Brown who diverted Wayne Rooney’s cross from the left flank into the goalpost which Pepe Reina failed to save.

Let’s just say Pepe Reina is a lousy goalkeeper. He has been having butter fingers throughout the match.

He almost let one more in if not for his heng heng reaction when he smacked the ball off the line.

And soon, Javier Mascherano was sent off for getting a 2nd yellow card, probably for arguing with the referee for giving Fernando Torres a yellow card.

He should be sent off long ago for his unsightly tackles on my beloved Manchester United players.

Anyhow tackle. Anyhow play. And anyhow sent off.

2 yellow cards make one red card. Yellow and red. Just so happen that they are the colours of the Manchester United crest.

And Liverpool was outshined in the midfield by Scholes, Carrick and Anderson. Torres had no one to supply him with crosses and through passes.

Liverpool’s fullbacks were slow. They weren’t of an impact compared to Wes Brown and Patrice Evra, who were up and won the wings with overlapping runs and some attempts in crossing. Patrice Evra was everywhere in the left wing. It was like there were 2 left wingers for Manchester United.

Steven Gerrard had not much contribution. The Liverpool midfield was very messy. There was a lack of pacy wingers to lead an attack for Liverpool.

The only guy working was Ryan Babel, who posed some threats.

Rio Ferdinand totally shut Fernando Torres up.

And Anderson. He is so slow in making through passes. He needs to work on his shooting. His shooting sucks big time. Otherwise, Manchester United would have won by a bigger margin.

He practically ballooned all his shots.

Things started to change when my favourite hero Ryan Giggs and Anderson were substituted for Nani and Tevez respectively.

It was a corner at the 79th minute when Cristiano Ronaldo scored.

And just 2 minutes later, Nani fired a long range shot into the bottom left corner which Pepe Reina stood rooted in the front of goal and nothing he could do.

2 GOALS IN 2 MINUTES!!!

I’m sure all Liverpool fans watched the match with grim faces. Their beloved Liverpool Football Club are in all sorts of trouble now.

To think that Best Bud Woo actually said Pepe Reina was zai.

If he was zai, the likes of Buffon, Casillas and van der Sar are named as gods.

And the end.

Lambert must be feeling hurt now. Nothing tastes sweeter than a victory against Liverpool.

What a day for Arsenal! Chelsea came back from behind to beat Arsenal 2-1 thanks to a brace by Didier Drogba in the last 20 minutes of the game.

Arsenal gained the lead when Bacary Sagna headed in a corner from Cesc Fabregas in the 59th minute.

That’s all folks. Full stop for Arsenal.

And Didier Drogba scored in the 73rd minute and in the 82th minute to snatch the crucial 3 points to try to keep in touch with Manchester United.

I suggest they don’t try so hard lah.

Because no matter how hard they try, they will not catch Manchester United.

So I’ll see Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville lifting up the English Premiership trophy again this year.

I want this season’s Manchester United jersey with Giggs’ name behind.

I will get it!
