I guess it’s more or less confirmed.
I’ll be taking my driving retest on 21 June 2008.
I’m still trying very hard, approximately every 15 to 30 minutes to search for earlier slots but to no avail.
Damn.
I still don’t get it why I managed to strike kerb.
I have never ever struck kerb in circuits before. I only mounted kerb. =)
I mounted kerb while I was still noob. Just 4 lessons into driving. After that, my car wheels have never ever touched a single carbon molecule of the kerb before.
And how did the handbrake light light up on my dashboard when I have released the handbrake and moved off the slope?
Even the tester was stunned.
Wah. You released the handbrake already. But why the light still on? And you moved so far already.
He still penalised me anyway.
Thanks.
I mean, I managed to move off the slope you know. Yes. I released the handbrake.
Please avoid car 54 if you are taking school. If you kena, all the best. It’s so damn creepy.
And the clutch pedal threatened to stall engine. Just half clutch the car didn’t really move but the engine starts vibrating very hard. I didn’t stall engine anyway.
Anyway, I’ve put it all behind me already. After all, like what Yonghui said, fail again take again and again and again. Your comment that ‘:S’ thing reminds me of the S course by the way.
Even though I’m still wondering why I struck kerb when all the points are correct and how the handbrake lights are lighted on the dashboard when I released them and moved off already.
I need to pray more. Accompany me to the Guan Yin Temple at Waterloo Street on 20 June 2008.

The maybe we’ll have tau suan later at the hawker centre opposite. The tau suan there is super powerfully nice. Eat the tau suan there and you’ll find that the normal ones are nonsense.
Just like how I find ice kacang nonsense after eating 芒果冰 in Taiwan.
Perhaps after the tau suan session we can walk over to Bugis Junction for a la kopi session at Starbucks. And ogle at girls for the guys and ogle at guys for the girls and I’ll see you people ogling at other people while I’m thinking about the test the next day.
Back to the driving test topic. I was hoping not to be like my dad. He took 7 times. I’ve asked around, so far I haven’t seen anyone hitting my dad’s record of 7 times.
And now, I have a few weeks to act like one safe driver. How to act like one safe driver?
The tester said I cheong too fast. So next time, maximum I’ll go gear 3.
Really, I should have consulted Desmond on this. He has repeatedly reminded me not to drive like a maniac but somehow I forgot that I shouldn’t drive like one during test.
But it’s 10 points gone before I entered the road. So all the more I should drive like one maniac.
I should have just made the tester giddy from all that driving and puke.
Anyone can teach me how to act like one safe driver?
Then after I pass, it’s back to Kimi Raikkonen style.
Edit @ 5.31pm, 5 May 2008:
Let’s just see how anyway.
I need people to teach me to act like a safe driver. Because I can never be a safe driver, I can only act like one.
Yup. Kavin. I thought so too. Gear 3 a bit like road-hogging.
But tester says I drive too fast.
Now I’m thinking if that’s the case…
Can I bribe the tester?
Edit @ 5.57pm, 6 May 2008:
I have successfully booked an earlier test date.
12 June 2008. 1st slot in the morning.
This time round I must really pass.
