It’s past 24 hours ever since the concert ended.

Yet I’m still very high.

The phrase of the song is playing still in my mind. The melody of the song is on repeat mode in my mind.

You were my superwoman~!!!

That’s it.

Gary Chaw Welcome To My World Asian Tour 2008

Before the concert, I went for a birthday treat session with Best Bud Woo and Late King Ong.

Saw Yingwen and Sheila Poh at Suntec.

Suntec is still my favourite place.

And wow wow wow!!!

Oh man.

The concert is really really awesome.

His vocals is seriously power. No wonder he won the Best Male Singer in the 19th Golden Melody Awards. If they didn’t give him the award, I don’t know who they should give the award to.

His copper-red hair. I thought I saw a comic character on the stage.

And most importantly, he shared with us his thoughts.

How we should live life.
How we should pursue our dreams.
How we should tell our loved ones how much we love them.
How we should be thankful to the people around us.
How we should treat our everyday life as part of our learning experience.

It is because of these experiences that make us who we are today.

I agree with what he says.

If he can’t be a singer, I suggest he should be a motivational speaker.

Actually, I guess you guys know he has tattoos around his body.

One big big ‘Chaw’ behind his back and another pattern around his right arm.

There’s a story behind these tattoos though. Maybe I’ll share it with you guys someday.

Most importantly, I sensed his sincerity during his concert. He is really very sincere in presenting his show to us. He kept bowing to us, like he’s owed it all to the fans.

The way he sang his songs. For a moment, everyone sensed a tinge of emo in them.

As for the guests. Of course, 卓文萱 and 易傑齐 were the expected guests.

易傑齐 sang one of his songs from his latest album. After he finished his song, he noted that the way Gary Chaw likes to drag when he sings. Gary Chaw likes to go on and on non-stop when he sings. And said maybe he should try it.

Before 易傑齐 could start on his 2nd song, he was dragged off the stage by some dancers.

LOL!!!

And 卓文萱’s voice. Really very sharp sia. And loud too! But she is chio.

We saw Michelle Chia and Shaun Chen around too. Not forgetting Nat Ho and 张耀栋 too.

And Gary Chaw claimed that 杨宗纬 was around. But later he said he was lying. However, he remaked that Gary Chaw isn’t the type who lies.

Indeed he was! When Gary Chaw took out his own video camera to film the audience.

It was a habit of his to film the audience during his concerts. And we all saw 杨宗纬 in the audience seat since we can see what was shown on the video camera on the screen.

And the songs he sang. No doubt he is Gary Chaw.

And especially he suddenly knelt down when he sang 背叛, caught everyone by surprise.

He was feeling very gan jiong today. Somehow.

Which is unlike him as he claimed that he doesn’t know why people will feel gan jiong. Moreover, he’s full of confidence of his singing.

But today, he found back his gan jiong feelings.

How can we let him off without singing a duet of 梁山伯与茱丽叶 with 卓文萱?

It was a great concert. Really good.

I’ll surely go to his next concert. And every of his concerts in future.

Although there wasn’t any encore, the concert was a bang.

I remember the last part of the concert he took off his sleeveless t-shirt and threw it down to the audience.

And there he stood half-naked for a while, before turning around and walked back and showed the thumbs-up sign and looked back at the audience with grattitude as the platform descends.

That look of grattitude and determination.

Priceless.
