I jio-ed Best Bud Woo for a drink. We decided on drinking at 1st hawker.
When I reached there, I saw Mr Lee Kong Wee, Aik Siang and Elvis.
So we joined them for drink.
Really. Long long time no see. I’ve only met up with Aik Siang once ever since school started.
As for Elvis, everytime we asked him out, he was always busy, or he was always in his hostel, or he was always busy in his hostel. REgarding to what he’s busy with, I’m not very sure. Finally saw him.
And I realised that the way Elvis talks has a very very very strong resemblance to Jamesy Kwan. Just that Jamesy Kwan is a little more monotone. And the speed at which Elvis talks is almost like a bullet train.
And I realised that SIM-UOL is always associated with the word ’slack’ or ‘free’.
It doesn’t mean that we are slack just because we go to school for just 3 hours a day.
Besides, I stay in school to mug now. And that 3 hours is simply lectures. If we include the time we spend on self-studying and doing tutorials, it is no different from NTU and NUS students.
We can be slack for now. Because of laziness. And because our next exams is in May.
But the culture is to slack until prelims and start to cheong and try to create a miracle.
I detest that cheonging period. It drains me mentally and physically. I’m going consistent this year onwards.
Anyway, we chit-chatted for a while before the trio went home.
Apparently, yesterday was the day of report book collection for Fuhua students. And they have to get their parents there too.
So it was a report-book-collection-cum-parents-meeting-session day.
I have something to say about this report-book-collection-cum-parents-meeting-session day. Lots of things to say.

I will blog later if I have the time. 2000-word essay is more important. At least must finish one essay today.
Don’t worry. You won’t have to wait another 2 days before I blog. I guess I’ll do it tonight.
And yesterday was SHA 2009. Singapore Hit Awards.
This event never fails to raise everyone’s eyebrows.
Just take a look at the guests attending this SHA.
S.H.E, 五月天, 蔡健雅, 萧敬腾, 梁文音, 徐佳莹, 黄靖伦, 张芸京, Olivia Ong, 迷路兵, 陈伟联, 蔡艾珈, 黄智阳, 陈彼得, 邱意琳, 叶敦鸿, 陈迪雅, 杨佳莹.
I understand the part from S.H.E all the way until 陈伟联. But the likes of 蔡艾珈 and 黄智阳???
HUH??!!!
And it’s the same thing every year. Everyone who came went home with something.
And 最佳演绎男歌手. Eason Chan not nominated???
优秀新人奖. 4 winners???
Kelong lah.
But never mind. You happy, I happy.
It’s a fact that SHA is not really recognised by a lot of singers. Which is why it is always difficult for 933 to plan such events.
Just look at who’s attending you will know. Big shots like Jay and Lee Hom don’t come.
If they come, I will go and watch. And I don’t mind paying $138 for them. But Jay seldom sing on such events. Just look at variety shows that he attended. Since when he sang?
Anyway.
I always look forward to Fridays and the weekends on Mondays.
But when Fridays and the weekends come, I’m usually bored.
Oh well. Back to my essay.
